'OLD BOY' RETURNS TO TAKE THE HELM AT LISBURN COLLEGE

A FORMER student at Lisburn College has returned as the new Principal and Chief Executive of the South Eastern Regional College.

Ken Webb has taken up the post at the College which has campuses in Lisburn, Downpatrick, Newtownards and Bangor.

Ken, who is from the Lisburn area and is an 'alumni' of the College, joins South Eastern Regional College having held the position of Director of Corporate Services at North Down Borough Council for the past eight years, while simultaneously Chair of the Society of IT Management's commercial consulting arm.

He has a wide and varied professional background, including previously working in Central Government on a number of PPP/PFI projects; in the advertising industry; and in the agri-food industry.
