POLICE are on the hunt for a gang which has been stopping cars and demanding money in the Lisburn area.
Five incidents have been reported to police.
The gang apparently park their car at the side of the road - possibly in a dark coloured VW Passat - and flag down passing traffic.

The good Samaritans who stop, thinking that the car occupants had broken down or were in trouble were faced with a demad for cash.
Police are warning motorists to be wary.
In the most recent incident at 12:20pm on July 12 police in Lisburn received a report of a Volkswagen Passat, with a number of people on board stopping passing motorists on the Magheraknock Road, asking for money.

While police would remind motorists that most people who ask drivers to stop are genuine, they should be aware and report any suspicious circumstances to police.

They say the gang are believed to be foreign nationals and have asked anyone with information to contact police on 0845 600 8000.
